Job summary

HI TOURS GROUP is seeking a hands-on Ticketing Specialist to manage air travel for corporate offsites, meetings and events across India and international destinations.

You will work with sales and operations to provide accurate flight options, secure competitive fares, and ensure timely ticketing for groups, with strong focus on accuracy of passenger names, dates and routes.

Experience with group movements, changing passenger lists and time-sensitive requests will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10 years of hands-on air ticketing experience.
• Working knowledge of a major GDS (Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre).
• Experience with international fares, group quotations, ticket issuance, reissues and refunds.

Responsibilities

• Flight proposals and costing: research routes and fare options; explain conditions clearly.
• Group bookings: coordinate with airlines on group fares, seat blocks, deposits, and deadlines.
• Ticketing and servicing: create/manage bookings, issue tickets, handle changes and refunds.
• Traveller accuracy: verify names, dates and routes; share final itineraries promptly.
• Commercial control: monitor fare validity and airline deadlines; protect margins.
• Live programme support: resolve disruptions quickly and inform client and operations.

About the Role

HI TOURS GROUP is looking for a hands-on Ticketing Specialist to manage air travel for corporate offsites, incentive trips, meetings and events across India and international destinations.

HI TOURS GROUP, a 30-year-old travel group with diverse interests across destination management, corporate offsites, incentive travel and leisure holidays, is looking for an experienced Ticketing Specialist to manage air travel for across India and international destinations.

You will work closely with sales and operations, you will provide accurate flight options, secure competitive fares and ensure that every traveller is ticketed correctly and on time. The role requires particular confidence with group movements, changing passenger lists and time-sensitive travel requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Flight proposals and costing: Research suitable routes, prepare accurate fare options and explain baggage, cancellation, change and ticketing conditions clearly to the team.
• Group bookings: Coordinate with airlines and consolidators on group fares, seat blocks, deposits, name submissions and ticketing deadlines.
• Ticketing and servicing: Create and manage bookings, issue tickets, and handle changes, reissues, cancellations and refunds for domestic and international travel.
• Traveller accuracy: Check names, dates, routes and passenger details before issuance; maintain clear booking records and share final itineraries promptly.
• Commercial control: Monitor fare validity and airline deadlines, reconcile ticketing costs and help protect the approved margin on each programme.
• Live programme support: Resolve flight disruptions and urgent changes quickly, keeping the operations team and client informed.

What We Are Looking For

• 10 years of hands‑on air ticketing experience, with meaningful exposure to corporate or group travel.
• Working knowledge of a major GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre, along with airline portals and low-cost carriers.
• Experience with international fares, group quotations, ticket issuance, reissues and refunds.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and awareness of airline rules and deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings under pressure and coordinate effectively with airlines, vendors and internal teams.
• Clear written and spoken communication and a strong sense of ownership.
