Job summary

Dhowha Global Resources is seeking experienced Textile / Surface Pattern Designers for long-term freelance collaboration. You will redesign references into new, original textile patterns that are seamless, high-resolution, and ready for production, aligned with moodboards and design direction.

We value strong specialization in floral, botanical, geometric, or heritage styles and expect a portfolio of textile/surface pattern work. Remote work with flexible schedule and bulk project rates offered.

Job description

We are a bedsheet company looking for several experienced Textile / Surface Pattern Designers for long-term freelance collaboration.

We develop a wide variety of patterns for bedding and home textile collections. Rather than expecting one designer to specialise in every style, we are looking to build a small team of designers with different creative strengths.

Your Role

We will provide selected pattern images as references based on our moodboards and design direction.

Your role is to redesign and develop these references into new, improved and original textile patterns, while maintaining the overall style and direction we are looking for.

Final designs must be seamless, high-resolution and ready for textile production.

We are particularly interested in designers specialising in one or more of the following areas:

A. Floral & Botanical

Ditsy floral, English floral, Chintz, Botanical, Garden Floral

B. Artistic & Heritage

Watercolour, Painterly Floral, Jacobean, Arts & Crafts, Vintage/Heritage Botanical, Folk

C. Geometric & Ornamental

Geometric, Patchwork, Damask, Paisley, Ornamental, Block-Print-Inspired

You do NOT need to be strong in all styles.

We prefer designers who are particularly strong in specific pattern styles

What we need:

• Original pattern development based on our selected references and moodboards
• Strong motif development and composition
• Professional seamless repeats
• High-resolution, production-ready textile artwork
• Editable source files
• Experience with commercial textile or home textile patterns is preferred

AI-assisted workflows are acceptable, but raw or fully AI-generated patterns are not accepted as final artwork. Any AI use should be disclosed, and final artwork must be professionally developed, refined and prepared by the designer.

This is intended to be a long-term collaboration with ongoing pattern development

We are looking for non-exclusive patterns, so you are free to resell or license the same designs to other customers. We will only produce approximately 120 finished bedsheet sets per pattern.

We typically work on 20–50 patterns per project and are looking for a long-term collaboration. Please offer us your best package/bulk rate for this volume

Requirements:

• Must have experience in textile pattern design
• Strong eye for floral, botanical & textile patterns
• Experienced in creating 100% seamless repeats
• Able to prepare high-resolution, print-ready files for digital textile printing
• Able to work closely from moodboards and visual references
• Relevant textile/surface pattern portfolio is required

Pay: ₹16,826.64 - ₹63,407.92 per month
