The Elite Job is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Embroidery & Print Designer to join our dynamic remote team. Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, trend-led embroidery and print designs for apparel and accessories.
- Develop original artwork, repeat patterns, placement graphics, and embroidery layouts suitable for production.
- Collaborate closely with the design, product development, and marketing teams to ensure brand alignment and commercial viability.
- Research fashion, textile, and graphic trends to inform design direction and keep collections fresh and market-relevant.
- Prepare and deliver technical files, including spec sheets and production-ready artwork.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met with a keen eye for detail.
- Revise designs according to feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet client expectations.
- Maintain organized digital archives of all designs and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong portfolio showcasing embroidery and print design experience within the fashion, lifestyle, or homeware sectors.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A deep understanding of embroidery and printing techniques, applications, and limitations.
- Ability to conceptualize and execute both digital and hand-drawn designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote teams and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret briefs with creativity and accuracy.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Embroidery and/or Print Designer, preferably in a freelance or remote capacity.
- Experience working with apparel brands, manufacturers, or design studios is highly desirable.
- Background in textiles, surface pattern design, or fashion design is a plus.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with the ability to manage your own schedule.
- Project-based deadlines; must be able to adapt to varying project timelines.
- Occasional virtual meetings may be required to coordinate with the team or clients across different time zones.
