Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in textile/graphic design for baby/kids textiles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing textile prints, patterns, repeats, embroidery layouts, colourways or surface design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; CorelDRAW knowledge is a plus. AI-enabled tools encouraged.

We’re Hiring: Textile Graphic Designer – Baby Bedding, Nursery & Home Textiles

Abracadabra is looking for a Textile Graphic Designer with a background in textile design, fashion design, surface pattern design, or graphic design to join our in-house team in Faridabad.

Abracadabra is a baby and kids’ lifestyle brand focused on creating beautiful, practical, and production-friendly baby bedding, nursery products, soft furnishings, and home textiles. Our collections include coordinated nursery themes, prints, patterns, embroidery details, and mix-and-match designs created for both domestic and international markets.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating original prints, patterns, embroidery layouts, surface designs, and colourways — and wants to see their designs come to life through real production.

The designer will work closely with our product development, sampling, merchandising, and production teams to create designs that are aesthetically strong, technically accurate, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original textile prints, patterns, repeats, motifs, embroidery layouts, and colourways
• Research trends, themes, colours, materials, and design directions relevant to baby bedding, nursery products, and home textiles
• Develop artwork suitable for mass production across multiple product categories
• Prepare clear design specifications including scale, repeat, colours, embroidery placement, and final production files
• Coordinate with sampling and production teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and production accuracy
• Review strike-offs, fabric samples, embroidery samples, and lab dips; make refinements where required
• Work on coordinated collections, nursery themes, print stories, and seasonal design directions
• Collaborate with product development, merchandising, production, and marketing teams
• Support sampling and merchandising-related tasks when needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, excluding internships
• Strong portfolio showcasing textile prints, pattern-based work, repeats, embroidery layouts, colourways, or surface design work
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is required; knowledge of CorelDRAW will be an added advantage. Experience using AI-enabled design tools or incorporating AI into the design process is encouraged.
• Strong eye for colour, composition, scale, layout, detailing, and overall design balance
• Good understanding of textile materials, printing techniques, embroidery processes, and production feasibility
• Experience with baby, kids, nursery, home textiles, apparel, or lifestyle products will be preferred
• Strong communication and follow-up skills with sampling and production teams
• Ability to manage timelines, take feedback, and meet deadlines

Additional Information

Work Mode: Full-time, on-site only

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Salary: Flexible, based on experience and skill set
