Mounee Consulting Services Private Limited in Gurgaon, Haryana, is seeking a creative Rug Designer to join our export-focused textiles team. You will design rugs and carpets, develop mood boards and color palettes, and produce production-ready designs using industry tools.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of rug/carpet design experience, strong knowledge of weaves and textures, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, or similar software.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of rug/carpet design experience, preferably export-focused.
• Strong knowledge of weaves, textures, yarns and production methods.
• Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design new collections of rugs and carpets aligned with market trends and buyer preferences
• Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts
• Create production-ready designs using design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics, etc.)
• Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
• Modify and revise designs based on feedback from clients and teams
• Stay updated on global design trends, textures, and techniques
• Communicate ideas effectively to internal teams and international buyers

About The Role
