Job summary

Taurus Home Furnishings, Gurgaon, is seeking a Textile Designer with expertise in surface embroidery to create innovative designs for our home furnishings line.

You will develop patterns, work with the design team, and prepare production-ready artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. A strong portfolio and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in textile design, preferably in home furnishings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; strong understanding of textile production processes and color theory.

Responsibilities

• Design original textile designs and patterns for home furnishings.

You'll work closely with our design team to develop designs that meet our brand's aesthetic and functional requirements.

*Key Responsibilities:

• *Design Development:* Create original textile designs and patterns for home furnishings products, considering current trends and consumer preferences.
• *Collaboration:* Work with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, ensuring designs meet brand requirements.
• *Technical Skills:* Use design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to produce digital artwork and prepare technical specifications for production.
• *Color and Fabric Selection:* Select appropriate colors, patterns, and materials for each design, considering textile production processes.
• *Design Presentation:* Prepare design presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

*Requirements:

• *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
