Capco Chennai is seeking a skilled Java/Angular developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define features, participate in code reviews, and ensure robust software quality through unit and integration testing.

The role emphasizes modern cloud-native practices, microservices architecture, and secure RESTful APIs with Spring Security.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java/J2EE and microservices architectures.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Frameworks.
• Hands-on with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Frontend tech: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Job Description

Direct Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Java, Angular, Spring Boot.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software features and enhancements.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, including cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular.

• Implement security features such as authentication and authorization using Spring Security.

• Implement database access and management using Hibernate and other ORM frameworks.

Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• 3 to 5 years total experience

• Expert in Core Java, J2EE, Junit and Micro services & Webservices (API), Spring Boot, Spring related frameworks, Hibernate, Design Patterns, and other Java concepts such as multithreading, concurrency and data structures.

• Experience in writing testcases (Junit, Jasmine & Karma)

• Exposure to SQL Server (SQL queries, Packages, stored procedures, functions and database modeling) and performance tuning

• Exposure to Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with AI concepts and ability to use the same for everyday work
