Job summary

Shree Mgs Consultancy Services Llp is seeking a lab testing professional to conduct tests on cement, concrete, aggregate, soil, bricks and related materials at our Surat facility. The role requires handling samples, operating equipment and recording results with attention to NABL procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering qualification (Diploma/B.E./B.Tech) and 0–1 year of experience, with local Surat candidates preferred. On-site position with focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering required.
• Freshers to 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on cement, concrete, aggregate, soil, bricks/blocks, steel, bitumen and asphalt.
• Perform tests as per IS Codes, ASTM standards and approved lab procedures.
• Collect, receive, identify and properly handle test samples.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment and ensure proper equipment usage.
• Record test observations, calculations and results accurately.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, worksheets and laboratory records.
• Ensure testing activities comply with NABL requirements and quality procedures.
• Check the condition and calibration status of testing equipment before use.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper organization of the laboratory.
• Report any non-conformity, abnormal test result or equipment issue to the concerned authority.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager, Lab Technician and clients for testing requirements.
• Assist in internal audits, quality improvement activities and documentation.
