The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in software testing, strong SQL, familiarity with SDLC, and experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, plus API testing

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Strong understanding of various software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven ability to design, write, and execute effective test cases.
• Solid experience with SQL for data validation, test data preparation, and backend testing.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT, TestComplete).
• Proven experience working within the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and/or Corporate Banking domains.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify root causes of issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of various software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Test Case Development: Proven ability to design, write, and execute effective test cases.
• SQL Proficiency: Solid experience with SQL for data validation, test data preparation, and backend testing.
• Test Automation Tools: Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT, TestComplete).
• Domain Expertise: Proven experience working within the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and/or Corporate Banking domains.
• Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify root causes of issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Programming/Scripting: Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., C#, Python, Java) for automation purposes.
• Performance Testing Tools: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• API Testing: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Cloud Platforms: Exposure to testing applications deployed on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, OCI).
• Financial Certifications: Relevant financial certifications are a plus.
