Job summary

Aetram Infotech is seeking a Software Engineer Testing with hands-on automation experience for web and mobile apps. You will contribute to STLC processes, design robust automation, and ensure quality across FinTech-like domains.

You will implement test scripts with Appium and Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, execute functional and regression tests, and collaborate with developers to enable on-time releases and high-quality software.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Software Engineer Testing with hands-on experience in test automation for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), testing frameworks, and Capital & Securities Markets, preferably with experience in FinTech or Stock Broking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and automated test scripts.


• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.


• Build and maintain clear, efficient, and reusable automation scripts.


• Identify, track, and validate defects across product releases.


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure product quality and timely releases.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) and testing frameworks.


• Hands-on experience with Appium and any one of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.


• Ability to write clear, efficient, and maintainable test scripts.


• Good understanding of Capital and Securities Markets is mandatory.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in testing FinTech, Trading, or Stock Broking applications.
