Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance professional with 7+ years in QA, spanning manual and automation testing for fintech/digital banking contexts.

You will work in a fast-paced product environment, collaborating across product, engineering and business teams, developing and maintaining Playwright automation, running API tests with Postman, and validating data with SQL. You will contribute to defect lifecycle management and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience in manual and automation testing, especially in fintech/digital banking domains.
• Hands-on automation using Playwright and API testing with Postman.

Job description

• Mandatory Skills Description:• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Experience working in a Fintech/Digital bank/Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider/Payment platform
  • Strong understanding of digital banking products such as customer onboarding, identity verification, lending, deposits, payments, or customer servicing.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation using Playwright.
  • Strong API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
  • Experience using GitHub or similar tools for defect tracking and collaboration.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced product environment.
