Tata Electronics Private Limited is seeking an experienced test engineer to lead ATE/ICT initiatives in Karnataka. You will design and implement test fixtures, develop ICT/test programs, and drive yield improvements for automotive and high-performance components.

Collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery is essential. The role requires 7–10 years of hands-on experience with ATE, ICT, and automated test environments, plus strong knowledge of automotive

Qualifications

• BE/MTech in Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation.
• 7–10 years of experience in ATE ICT environments.
• Strong knowledge of automotive protocols and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of circuit schematic design and testing.
• Build new ATEs using Keysight and Nationals instruments.
• Design and develop ICT fixtures for production ICT testers.
• Develop test programs for Keysight i3070/Teradyne ICT.
• Plan testing concepts and select appropriate hardware.
• Create complete ATE solutions and optimize FPY and yield.
• Prepare SOPs, checklists for process verification.
• Utilize Six Sigma tools for quality improvement.
• Perform debugging, signal simulation, and complex issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Circuit schematic.
• Knowledge on Automotive communication protocols.
• Good knowledge on Adv Microcontrollers, Analog and Digital Input& Output signals"
• Build New ATE's using Keysight and Nationals instrument Test Equipment’s. (PXI, LXI/GPIB)
• Design and Develop Test fixtures for ICT i3070 used in Production.
• Should development Test programs for Keysight i3070/Teradyne ICT.
• Designing the Testing Concepts and choosing hardware.
• Selection of best equipment’s and technologies to develop the Complete ATE
• Meeting with Customer and presenting the ATE status. Monitor FPY and NTF. Improve Yield.
• Create Standard Operating procedure, Checklist Preparation for Process verification.
• Able to use 6 Six sigma tools.
• Create FMEA Validation of testers (CpCpK, GR&R).
• Should debug the Circuit Problems and simulate signals to Measure analyse.
• Ability to solve complex production issues & provide good solution.
