Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) in India is seeking a senior engineer to lead ATE and ICT testing initiatives for precision components. You will design and implement ATE systems, develop test programs, and create fixtures while ensuring high-reliability production tests for automotive and RF applications.

Candidate should have BE/MTech in electronics or instrumentation with 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Keysight/Teradyne platforms, and hands-on debugging skills.

Qualifications

• BE/MTech in Electronics or related field required.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in ATE/ICT environments.
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols.
• Experience building ATE systems and test programs for ICT/ICT-like equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand circuit schematics and component level signals.
• Develop and maintain ATE systems for semiconductor testing.
• Build new ATE hardware using Keysight, Teradyne ICT platforms.
• Design test fixtures and jigging for ICT i3070/Teradyne based setups.
• Select appropriate test equipment and software for verification.
• Create standard operating procedures and checklists for process verification.
• Debug complex circuit issues and simulate signals to analyze results.
• Coordinate with suppliers for test engineering designs and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of Circuit schematic.
• Knowledge on Automotive communication protocols.
• Good knowledge on Adv Microcontrollers, Analog and Digital Input& Output signals.
• Build New ATE's using Keysight and Nationals instrument Test Equipment (PXI, LXI/GPIB).
• By choosing right equipment.
• Selection of best equipment and technologies to develop the Complete ATE.
• Should development Test programs for Keysight i3070/Teradyne ICT.
• Help Design and Design Test fixtures for ICT i3070, coordinating with suppliers help design Engineering Designing the Testing Concepts and choosing hardware’s.
• Create Standard Operating procedure, Checklist Preparation for Process verification.
• Able to use 6 Six sigma tools.
• Should debug the Circuit Problems and simulate signals to Measure analyse.
• Ability to solve complex production issues & provide good solution.
