Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited in Karnataka invites an experienced engineer to lead ATE development and ICT test programs for production. You will design fixtures, develop test software and collaborate with customers to define testing concepts.

The role requires 7–10 years in electronics testing, strong knowledge of circuit schematics, automotive protocols, and hands-on experience with Keysight i3070, Teradyne ICT, and PXI/LXI/GPIB hardware.

Qualifications

• BE/MTech in Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation.
• 7–10 years of experience in ATE/ICT for production testing.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of circuit schematic.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
• Good knowledge of advanced microcontrollers, analog and digital I/O signals.
• Build new ATEs using Keysight and Nationals’ instrument test equipment (PXI, LXI, GPIB).
• Design and develop test fixtures for ICT i3070 used in production.
• Develop test programs for Keysight i3070/Teradyne ICT.
• Design testing concepts and select appropriate hardware.
• Select best equipment/technologies to develop the complete ATE.
• Meet with customers, present ATE status, monitor FPY and NTf, improve yield.
• Create SOPs and checklists for process verification.
• Use Six Sigma tools (6) in problem solving.
• Create FMEA validation of testers (Cp Cp K, GR&R).
• Debug circuit problems and simulate signals to measure/analyze.
• Solve complex production issues and provide durable solutions.
