Job summary

CBT Infotech is seeking a Test Lead Engineer for Life Insurance with 5–8 years in software testing. The role is based in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, and requires strong domain knowledge in Life Insurance, hands-on testing in Life Asia/AS400, and a solid grasp of STLC/SDLC and defect lifecycle.

You will lead functional, regression, integration, SIT, UAT, smoke and sanity testing, craft robust test cases, and work in an Agile/Scrum environment while coordinating with stakeholders and quality assurance

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong experience in Life Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with Life Asia / AS400.
• Strong understanding of Life Insurance policy lifecycle.
• Experience in manual and functional testing.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, SIT, UAT, Smoke and Sanity testing.
• Good experience in test case and test scenario preparation.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar defect-management tools.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Basic to good knowledge of SQL/database testing.
