Job summary

AQM Technologies PVT LTD seeks a Software Tester with 2–4 years of core testing experience to join our Mumbai delivery teams. You will be responsible for crafting test scenarios, selecting appropriate test cases for automation, and executing SIT and UAT with a focus on defect detection and quality assurance.

You should be proficient in reporting defects, tracking them with developers and BAs, and communicating clearly in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in core Software testing.
• Experience in Health Insurance/ Motor Insurance/ Travel Insurance testing exposure preferred.
• Ability to derive test scenarios and test cases from requirements.
• Proactive in test case execution, defect discussion, defect logging, risk identification and mitigation.
• Knowledge of SQL queries and basic database testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tools like Quality Center, JIRA or Bugzilla.

Responsibilities

• Create RTM for tests designed.
• Select test cases suitable for automation.
• Perform SIT and UAT test execution.

Job Description

• Proficient in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix for Tests designed
• Proficient in Selection of Test cases, rightly suitable for Automation considering automation selection criteria’s
• Need to be proficient in Performing SIT & UAT Test Execution
• Should report Defects & follow up with Developers / BA IT for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA
• Should have good verbal and written communication skills along with strong Logical thinking
• Must be a good learner and self-starter, and also a team player
• Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites

Requirements

• Preferred exposure in Health Insurance/Motor Insurance/ Travel Insurance/Property and Casualty
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in core Software testing
• Should be able to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from the same
• Should be proactive in test cases execution, defect discussion, defect logging, risk identification and mitigation
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries, databases and running of basic SQL queries
• Should have hands on experience on Test Management (like Quality Center) and Defect Management tools like (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Education: Any graduate with an IT background
