Job summary

LevelShift in Chennai seeks a Test Engineer – Salesforce Projects to ensure quality across Salesforce implementations. You will collaborate with developers, admins, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable Salesforce solutions.

You will perform end-to-end testing of campaigns, data mappings, and integrations, create test plans and reports, and help drive continuous improvement and automation within a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of software testing experience including SIT, UAT and regression testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, STLC, and QA best practices.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst (Preferred) and Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant (Preferred) certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of Salesforce campaigns, data flows, and integrations.
• Create and execute test plans, cases, and defect reports across multiple clouds.
• Validate data mappings, extensions, and automation workflows to ensure data accuracy.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to production deployment.
• Collaborate with developers, admins, architects, and business stakeholders for high-quality releases.

What You'll Do

As a Test Engineer – Salesforce Projects at LevelShift, you will:

• Perform end-to-end testing of email campaigns, SMS, push notifications, and Journey Builder workflows, validating entry criteria, decision splits, wait activities, personalization, and customer journey execution.
• Validate Data Extensions, audience segmentation, personalization attributes, SQL outputs, and data mappings to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across marketing campaigns.
• Test Automation Studio workflows, scheduled automations, API integrations, data imports/exports, and integrations with Salesforce CRM and external systems to ensure reliable end-to-end data flow.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle; perform functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure issues are resolved before production deployment.
• Create test plans, test cases, execution reports, defect reports, and QA documentation, while collaborating with developers, marketing teams, business analysts, and CRM stakeholders to ensure high-quality campaign releases.

Your Skillset

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, Functional Testing System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Regression Testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing life cycles (STLC), and quality assurance bestpractices.
• Good to have ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst (Preferred),Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant (Preferred)
