Job description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities

• Understanding test requirements and designing test cases for the product
• Authoring test plans based on business requirements and testable criteria
• Implementing Wipro's testing methodologies, including Model-based testing
• Ensuring peer review of test cases to minimize rework
• Collaborating with the development team to identify and manage test cases
• Defining testing scope, parameters, and criteria; participating in UAT
• Automating the test lifecycle using tools like VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation

Automation Framework & Reporting

• Designing and executing automation tests and reporting results
• Developing test environments, plans, and test cases/scenarios
• Logging defects with detailed descriptions and replication steps
• Monitoring defect resolution and test progress
• Ensuring timely delivery within SLAs and norms
• Creating test status dashboards for stakeholders
• Providing usability feedback and reporting quality risks

Status Reporting & Customer Focus

• Maintaining quality interactions with customers via email, calls, and reports
• Ensuring on-time delivery of test reports and updates in project trackers
• Responding promptly to customer requests and avoiding complaints

Performance Parameters

• Understanding test requirements and designing error-free solutions
• Executing test cases efficiently and reporting on automation efforts
