Job description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Do

• Understanding test requirements and designing test cases
• Authoring test plans based on business requirements and testable criteria
• Implementing Wipro's testing methodologies using Model-Based Testing for efficient test generation
• Ensuring peer review of test cases to minimize rework
• Collaborating with development teams to identify and capture test cases, managing versions
• Defining testing scope, criteria, and parameters, and participating in UAT
• Automating test lifecycle stages using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.

Design and execute automation framework and reporting

• Developing and automating tests for software validation, setting up test environments, designing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing them
• Raising and managing defect reports with clear descriptions and replication steps
• Detecting bugs, preparing defect reports, and reporting test progress
• Ensuring timely delivery within SLAs and norms
• Creating and releasing test status dashboards after each cycle
• Providing usability and serviceability feedback, tracing results to quality risks, and reporting to stakeholders

Status Reporting and Customer Focus

• Maintaining quality interactions with customers via email, calls, and fault reporting
• Delivering reports and dashboards on time
• Updating effort logs in project trackers
• Responding promptly to customer requests and maintaining high satisfaction

Mandatory Skills: Health and Welfare (HW) Tech.
