Job description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities

• Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product.
• Author test planning documents based on business requirements and testable criteria.
• Implement Wipro's testing methodologies, including Model Based Testing, to generate tests efficiently.
• Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and document test cases, manage version control.
• Define testing scope, parameters, and criteria; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Automate test processes using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation tools.

Automation Framework and Reporting

• Develop and automate tests, set up test environments, and design test plans.
• Document and report defects clearly, track test progress.
• Ensure timely delivery within SLAs, and create test status dashboards post-execution.
• Provide feedback on usability and report quality risks to stakeholders.

Status Reporting and Customer Focus

• Maintain high-quality communication with customers via email, calls, and reports.
• Ensure timely delivery of test reports and updates in project trackers.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, avoiding complaints.

Performance Parameters

• Accurate understanding of test requirements and design.
• Error-free testing solutions, minimal process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, automation using VB/macros.
