Job description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding test requirements and designing test cases:
   • Authoring test plans based on business requirements and testable requirements.
   • Implementing Wipro's testing methodologies, including Model Based Testing, for efficient test generation.
   • Peer reviewing test cases to minimize rework.
   • Collaborating with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control.
   • Setting testing scope, criteria, and parameters, and participating in UAT.
   • Automating test lifecycle stages using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
2. Design and execute automation framework and reporting:
   • Developing and automating tests for software validation, including setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases.
   • Raising and tracking defects according to project norms with clear descriptions and replication steps.
   • Reporting test progress and defect status.
   • Ensuring timely delivery within SLAs and norms.
   • Creating and releasing test status dashboards after each test cycle.
   • Providing usability and serviceability feedback and reporting quality risks to stakeholders.
3. Status Reporting and Customer Focus:
   • Maintaining effective communication with customers via email, calls, and fault reports.
   • Ensuring timely delivery of WSRs, test reports, and dashboard updates.
   • Updating effort logs in project trackers.
   • Responding promptly to customer requests with no complaints.
