Job description:

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities

• Understand test requirements and design test cases based on product specifications.
• Develop test plans aligned with business requirements and testable criteria.
• Implement Wipro's testing methodologies, including model-based testing for efficient test generation.
• Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, manage version control.
• Define testing scope, criteria, and parameters; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Automate test processes using tools such as VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.

Automation and Reporting

• Design and execute automation frameworks; develop and automate test cases for software validation.
• Set up test environments, create test plans, and document test execution.
• Report defects with clear descriptions and replication steps.
• Track defect resolution and test progress; ensure work items meet SLA standards.
• Prepare and share test status dashboards after each cycle.
• Provide usability and serviceability feedback, identify quality risks, and report to stakeholders.

Communication and Customer Focus

• Maintain professional communication with customers via email, calls, and fault report tracking.
• Ensure timely delivery of test reports, dashboards, and updates in project trackers.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, maintaining high satisfaction levels.

Performance Parameters

• Understanding test requirements and designing test cases.
• Executing test cases with minimal errors, ensuring SLA compliance, and automating tests using VB/macros.
• Measuring testing efficiency, quality, on-time delivery, and troubleshooting within TAT.

Mandatory Skills: Payroll (IT).
