Job Description

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/platform/solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure it meets 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities

• Understanding test requirements and designing test cases
  • Authoring test plans based on business requirements and testable criteria
  • Implementing Wipro's testing methodologies, including model-based testing for efficiency
  • Ensuring peer review of test cases to minimize rework
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify and manage test cases
  • Defining testing scope, parameters, and involvement in UAT
  • Automating test lifecycle stages using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
• Designing and executing automation framework and reporting
  • Developing automated tests, setting up test environments, and executing test cases
  • Raising defect reports with clear descriptions and replication steps
  • Identifying bugs and tracking defect resolution
  • Ensuring work items meet SLA standards with no rejection or slippage
  • Creating and sharing test status dashboards after each cycle
  • Providing usability and serviceability feedback, and reporting quality risks

Reporting & Customer Focus

• Maintaining quality interactions with customers via email, calls, and fault tracking
• Delivering reports and updates on time
• Updating effort logs and project trackers accurately
• Responding promptly to customer requests without complaints

Key Performance Parameters
