Job summary

Nelito System in Navi Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing Core Banking Solutions (CBS) and Integrated Loan Management Systems (ILMS). You will own end-to-end testing of critical banking modules and ensure data integrity in a fast-paced Agile setup.

The role involves designing and executing test cases, conducting SIT/UAT, validating SQL data, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to drive quality releases.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented testing of CBS and ILMS across loan origination, delinquency, and borrower journeys.
• 4+ years of hands-on testing experience in banking software in Agile environments.
• Experience with SQL-based back-end data validation and defect management using JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Manual and automation functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of CBS/ILMS modules.
• Prepare and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and test data; perform SIT and UAT.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of critical banking modules, ensuring data integrity, and delivering high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Testing: Perform manual and automation functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on CBS applications and ILMS modules. Validate workflows across loan origination, delinquency management, DPD (Days Past Due) buckets, recovery flows, and standard borrower journeys.
• Test Execution & SIT/UAT: Prepare, review, and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and test data based on technical and functional specifications. Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, retesting, and complex SQL-based back-end data validation.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, isolate, and track defects rigorously using tools like JIRA. Collaborate actively with software developers, business analysts, and key business stakeholders for defect resolutions.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in standard Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives to ensure alignment on release quality.
