Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai (Thane) requires a Test Lead/Test Engineer (Manual/Automated) to drive testing of BaNCS Banking Applications in Core Banking, Payments, and Digital Banking. You will lead functional testing, regression cycles and engage with customers for test planning and execution.

The role demands strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and ability to travel across geographies as needed. Prior QA certification and team management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual testing of Core Banking systems including functional & regression tests.
• Exposure to test automation as a user or creator.
• Experience in Quality reporting using standard SDLC tools.
• Expertise in data and process modeling within the domain.

Responsibilities

• Testing functional solutions of BaNCS Banking Applications in Core Banking/Payments/Digital Banking.
• Engaging with customers for test planning and test execution.
• Testing interfaces between BaNCS and other applications for end-to-end flows.
• Collaborating with engineering teams on defect fixing and UI/UX enhancements.

Required Technical Skill Set

• System Testing expertise in the specific domain for this the position is open Core Banking / Loans Origination / Payments / Digital Banking .
• Experience in Manual Testing of Core Banking systems including Functional & Regression testing
• Exposure to test automation as a user or as a creator
• Expertise in Client Interaction & Engagement related to the banking solutions delivery and Testing in specific
• Experience in Quality reporting and using industry standard Testing an software development lifecycle tools
• Expertise in Data and Process model in the specific domain .

• Certification in Quality Control / Testing
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Excellent Communication skills

• Mobility to travel across Geographies as per the demand of the job
• Excellent documentation skills specially for Test Planning , Test Execution , Test Results Reports , Quality Metrics reporting .

Role descriptions :

• Testing of Functional Solution of Company's BaNCS Banking Applications in the area of Core Banking / Payments / Digital Banking / Loan Origination
• Engaging with customers in context of test planning / test execution of the Functional Solution
• Testing the Interfaces between Company's BaNCS and other applications to meet the required end to end functional flows
• Work with the engineering teams on defect fixing , UI/UX enhancements
• Prepare and delivery demonstration of system ( running the system).
