JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester / Test Lead – Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) Applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in digital banking applications, corporate internet banking, API testing, and banking domain testing. You will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and leading testing activities while ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-quality digital banking solutions across multiple banking channels.

• Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and user stories to understand project requirements.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs and identify potential issues during the testing lifecycle.
• Design, review, and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and system integration testing (SIT).
• Validate digital banking applications across Corporate Internet Banking (CIB), mobile banking, online banking, USSD, IVR, ATM systems, and ASBA.
• Prepare test data, maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), and ensure complete test coverage.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA while coordinating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Prepare test plans, test strategies, effort estimations, daily status reports, and test summary reports.
• Lead or collaborate with testing teams to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor testing progress, resolve execution blockers, and communicate project status with stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile and Waterfall development processes while ensuring continuous quality improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 5–15 years of experience in software testing within the banking domain, with experience in Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Digital Banking Applications and Omni‑channel banking platforms.
• Expertise in API Testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Strong knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Experience in preparing test cases, creating test data, maintaining RTM, and managing defects.
• Good understanding of Payments, Digital Banking, Corporate Internet Banking (CIB), ASBA, Mobile Banking, Online Banking, USSD, IVR, and ATM channels.
• Experience using JIRA, MS Excel, and Test Management tools.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), STLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
