Job summary

TCS Mumbai is hiring for a Senior Test Engineer with Core Banking or Payments domain focus. The role requires 4 to 15 years of experience in system and manual testing within banking solutions.

Responsibilities include planning and executing tests for Core Banking/Payments and related interfaces, engaging with customers, and contributing to quality metrics and documentation. Travel flexibility is expected as per project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing Core Banking/Payments/ Digital Banking applications.
• Expertise in manual testing of Core Banking systems – functional & regression.
• Exposure to test automation as user or creator.
• Strong client interaction to support banking solutions delivery and testing.
• Experience with quality reporting and lifecycle tools.
• Understanding of data and process models in the banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Test Functional Solutions of Core Banking/Payments/Digital Banking/Loan Origination applications.
• Engage with customers for test planning and test execution activities.
• Test interfaces between TCS BaNCS and other applications to ensure end-to-end flows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on defect fixes and UI/UX enhancements.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations of the system (running the system).

Role: Senior Test Engineer Core Banking or Payments Domain

Experience required: 4 to 15 years

Required Technical Skillset:-

• System Testing expertise in the specific domain for this the position is open - Core Banking / Loans Origination / Payments / Digital Banking .
• Experience in Manual Testing of Core Banking systems including Functional & Regression testing
• Exposure to test automation as a user or as a creator
• Expertise in Client Interaction & Engagement related to the banking solutions delivery and Testing in specific
• Experience in Quality reporting and using industry standard Testing an software development lifecycle tools
• Expertise in Data and Process model in the specific domain .

Role Description:-

• Testing of Functional Solution of TCS BaNCS Banking Applications in the area of Core Banking / Payments / Digital Banking / Loan Origination
• Engaging with customers in context of test planning / test execution of the Functional Solution
• Testing the Interfaces between TCS BaNCS and other applications to meet the required end to end functional flows
