Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai is seeking a Test Engineer with 5-15 years of experience to lead system testing across Core Banking, Loans Origination, Payments, and Digital Banking domains.

The role requires hands-on testing, including manual testing, exposure to test automation, and strong client engagement to deliver quality banking solutions, with focus on end-to-end test planning and defect resolution.

Qualifications

• Must have System Testing expertise in Core Banking / Loans Origination / Payments / Digital Banking.
• Manual testing experience of Core Banking systems including Functional & Regression testing.
• Exposure to test automation as a user or creator.
• Strong client interaction and engagement related to banking solutions delivery and testing.
• Experience in quality reporting and using industry standard testing and software development lifecycle tools.
• Expertise in data and process models in the specific domain.

Responsibilities

• Testing Functional Solution of TCS BaNCS Banking Applications in Core Banking / Payments / Digital Banking / Loan Origination.
• Engage with customers for test planning and test execution of the Functional Solution.
• Test interfaces between TCS BaNCS and other applications to meet end-to-end flows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on defect fixing and UI/UX enhancements.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations of the system in operation.

2. Engaging with customers in context of test planning / test execution of the Functional Solution
3. Testing the Interfaces between TCS BaNCS and other applications to meet the required end to end functional flows
4. Work with the engineering teams on defect fixing , UI/UX enhancements
5. Prepare and delivery demonstration of system ( running the system)
