Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Recovery or BFSI similar roles.
• Knowledge of unsecured lending products, processes and regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries.
• Review and improve recovery processes for efficiency and cost reductions.
• Oversee a portfolio of loan accounts across branches, identifying risks and recovery opportunities.
• Engage with internal stakeholders (sales, risk, operations) to ensure alignment.
• Interact with customers to negotiate repayment plans and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Provide regular reports and analytics on recovery performance (rates, days to recover, loss given default).

ROLE SUMMARY

The role involves overseeing and managing the recovery and continuity of operations within a specific geographic. He will beresponsible for managing a team of Area recovery managers, developing and implementing effective recovery strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to minimize losses and maximize recoveries, in line with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Continuously review and improve recovery processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions

Oversee a portfolio of business loans, identifying potential risks and opportunities for recovery, and developing targeted recovery plans.

Stakeholder Management

Engage with internal stakeholders, including sales, and risk teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Interact with customers to negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and other recovery-related activities.

Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.

Data Management

Provide regular reports and analysis on recovery performance, including metrics such as recovery rates, days to recover, and loss given default.
