Job summary

Search Advisers Services Guj is seeking a Proposal Engineer with expertise in boilers to manage end-to-end proposal activities from enquiry to order handover.

You will analyse RFQs, develop technically compliant solutions, perform thermal sizing and mechanical design for boilers, and prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals. Collaboration with customers, vendors and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in boiler industry is preferred.
• Ability to prepare techno-commercial proposals.
• Excellent coordination with customers, vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end proposal engineering from enquiry/RFQ to order handover.
• Analyse RFQs, tender documents and deviation sheets to develop compliant solutions.
• Perform thermal sizing and mechanical design for boilers and related equipment.
• Prepare and review P&IDs and select critical components like fans, pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Prepare detailed costing and techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams for smooth proposal development and handover.
• Conduct Order Transfer Meetings and provide technical clarification during project execution.
• Lead and guide the proposal engineering team to ensure quality and timely completion.

• Handle end-to-end proposal engineering activities from enquiry/RFQ to technical evaluation, proposal preparation, costing and order handover.
• Analyse RFQs, tender documents, technical queries and deviation sheets to develop technically compliant solutions.
• Perform thermal sizing and mechanical design for solid fuel boilers, thermic fluid heaters, hot water and hot gas-air generators.
• Prepare and review P&IDs and select critical components such as fans, pumps, valves and instrumentation.
• Prepare detailed costing and techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements and site conditions.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal front-end/back-end teams for smooth proposal development and order transition.
• Conduct Order Transfer Meetings and provide technical clarification during project execution.
• Lead and guide the proposal engineering team, ensuring quality and timely completion of proposals.
