Job summary

Jyoti Placement Services is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and cost management for construction projects in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role covers tender preparation, detailed cost estimation, bid analysis, and negotiation with vendors while maintaining budget control throughout project lifecycles.

The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with exposure to accounting/auditing/taxation domains.

• Relevant professional qualification or degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Tender preparation and cost estimation from drawings
• Review architectural/engineering drawings for quantity take-offs
• Analyse bids from contractors/suppliers and select cost-effective proposals
• Negotiate pricing, terms and schedules with vendors/subcontractors
• Monitor project budgets, track variations and design changes
• Process interim payment valuations and final cost settlements

Tender Preparation : Review architectural and engineering drawings to perform quantity take-offs.
Cost Estimation: Calculate precise costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Bidding & Procurement: Prepare tender packages, analyze contractor or supplier bids, and help select cost-effective proposals
.Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and schedules with vendors and subcontractors.
Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track variations or design changes, and manage financial risks.
Valuations: Assess completed site work and process interim payment valuations.
