Ciel HR is seeking an experienced Techno-Functional MES- PAS-X Application Lead for pan-India, hybrid work. You will own end-to-end delivery and operational support of PAS-X on Azure AKS, ensuring validated, compliant MES services in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Requires 8–15 years of MES/PAS-X experience, strong cloud and integration skills, and leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams across IT and shopfloor operations.

Job Description:

(P4/P5) We are seeking an experienced TechnoFunctional MES Application Leadto own and drive the endtoend delivery and operational support of Krber PASX solutions on Azure AKS, ensuring timely, and highquality MES services within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role combines strong technical depth and functional understanding of MES processes to coordinate crossfunctional teams, manage integrations and dependencies, proactively resolve issues, and ensure validated, compliant, and reliable MES solutions that meet business, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the MES PASX tower (v3.3.x)across programs, ensuring platform stability, scalability and compliance in cloudbased AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services)environments.
• Define and govern MES architecture standards, integration patterns, deployment models and operational best practicesforPASX on Azure.
• Ensure alignment of MES tower strategy with manufacturing IT, Digital Manufacturing roadmaps, ISA88/95 standardsand enterprise IT governance.
• Act as the single point of accountabilityforMES PASX delivery, operations, quality and compliance.
• Lead endtoend MES PASX implementations and upgrades, from requirement gathering through configuration, qualification and final delivery.
• Ensure to Coordinate on rollouts and system upgradesforPASX application.
• Own MES Service Delivery Operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and adherence to SLAs.
• Govern 2ndlevel support operationsforPASX, Azure, Kubernetes, and MES integrations.
• Lead Incident, Problem, Change and Release Managementprocesses in line with ITIL.
• Proactively identify risks, recurring issues and improvement opportunities to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide technical leadershipfor PASX deployment and lifecycle management on AKS, including service pack installations and platform upgrades.
• Govern OS, application and platform patching(Windows/Linux) and ensure timely vulnerability remediation.
• Oversee Kubernetes, Linux and databaserelated activities, ensuring performance, resilience and availability of MES environments.
• Collaborate closely with enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Network teams.
• Own and govern MES integrations with Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 systemsincluding SAP ERP, OSI PI, LIMS & Kepware/OPC.
• Ensure robust design, monitoring and support of DCS adapters, services and interfaces.
• Drive troubleshootingforcomplex crosssystem issues spanning MES, DCS, ERP, and shopfloor automation.
• Establish governancefor MES PASXUsers & Rights, Control Data & Profiles, Terminals, Printing, and Reporting, Production Units, WMS Master Data, Service & system configurations.
• Ensure data consistency, audit readiness, and alignment with validated system requirements.
• Ensure MES solutions comply with CSV, SDLC, 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP and GAMP requirements.
• Act as the primary interface with vendorssuch as Krber, Microsoftand system integrators.
• Manage vendor delivery, escalations and roadmap alignment.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, plant teams, QA, infrastructure and enterprise IT leadership.
• Provide technical and functional leadership to MES engineers and support teams.
• Mentor team members on PASX functionality, cloud/K8s concepts, validation and integrations.
• Drive proactive collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence within the MES tower.
• Identify opportunitiesfor automation, standardization and performance optimizationwithin MES operations.
