Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs seeks a Product Marketing specialist with 0–5 years of experience in Animal Health to train the sales team on veterinary pathology products and stay updated with industry developments. • BVSc or Animal Husbandry degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train sales team on veterinary pathology products/tests and stay updated with latest dairy industry developments.
• Penetrate markets with the help of the sales team and coordinate with Marketing for campaigns.
• Act as a bridge between Sales and Operations, ensuring follow-ups and documentation.
• Provide technical services to external customers (GOI, Vet Colleges, research institutes) on-site and off-site.
• Lead customer meetings to build partnerships, handle test queries/complaints and nurture scientific relations.
• Attend industry meetings/seminars and maintain records of farm visits and actions.

Role & responsibilities

Internal Customers

• Training of sales team on veterinary pathology products/tests
• Should be updated with the latest technical development in dairy industry and provide customer support.
• Penetrate deeper into markets with the help of sales team
• Acting as a bridge between Sales & Operation team.
• Close co-ordination with Marketing function for executing marketing Campaigns

External Customers- Dairy Farming / Government institution / Vet Colleges / Research Institutes / Dairy Cooperatives/ State livestock boards etc

• Imparting Training to Vets & other stockholders in GOI Business & other institutions
• Providing technical services to customers in assigned geography (On-site and off-site support)
• Leading customers meeting on relevant topics with an objective to become partner of choice.
• Handling Test queries / complaints and giving feedback to Lab Ops.
• Nurturing scientific relations with Academic / Research institutions
• Representing PathVets in scientific deliberations / seminars etc

Administration

• Ensure all required documentation and reports are completed
• Maintain accurate records of farm visits and ensure that follow-up to customer requests are completed on schedule
• Attend PathVets, dairy Industry Meeting / Seminar

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 0 - 5 years experience product marketing experience in Animal Health/Feed Additives/Cattle Feed

Qualification: B.V. Sc. or Animal Husbandry (preferred)
