Job summary

SUN PHARMA is seeking a Packing Operator for its OSD plant in a USFDA-approved facility. The role involves operating blister packing and bottle filling lines while ensuring cGMP compliance, accurate labeling, and strict adherence to SOPs.

You will perform in-process checks, maintain production records, and support cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance in a controlled cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations (OSD preferred).
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and documentation practices.
• Ability to work in a controlled environment and follow strict SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blister packing machines, bottle filling lines as per batch records.
• Perform in-process checks (pack integrity, labeling, batch coding) and document results.
• Execute equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure data integrity (ALCOA+).
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.

About The Role
