Job summary

SUN PHARMA is seeking an experienced Coating Operator to join our USFDA-approved tablet coating manufacturing site in India. The role involves operating and maintaining coating equipment for tablets, ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA regulations, and company SOPs.

The successful candidate will perform in-process checks, changes, and preventive maintenance, while documenting results with ALCOA+ principles and maintaining data integrity in production records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in OSD manufacturing, specifically tablet coating.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical documentation practices.
• Ability to work in a controlled environment and follow strict SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tablet coating machines per batch records.
• Perform in-process checks (weight, thickness, appearance) and document results.
• Execute equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance per SOPs.
• Maintain production records and ensure data integrity (ALCOA+ principles).
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.
