Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in India is seeking a Packing Operator for our OSD plant to operate blister packing and bottle filling lines in a USFDA-regulated facility. You will follow cGMP, SOPs, and batch records to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail with good teamwork and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical packing operations (OSD preferred).
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and documentation practices.
• Ability to work in a controlled environment and follow strict SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blister packing machines, bottle filling lines, and related equipment.
• Perform in-process checks (pack integrity, labeling, batch coding) and document results accurately.
• Execute equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance per SOPs.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure data integrity (ALCOA+ principles).
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and elevate major problems to maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.
