Job summary

TUV SUD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram is seeking a Textile Testing Lab Technician to perform sampling and testing of textile materials in accordance with defined SOPs.

You will operate test equipment, record results accurately, and help maintain a clean, compliant lab. Qualification includes B.Tech/Diploma in Textile Engineering or MSc and 3–5 years of experience; onsite deployment in a laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of textile testing concepts.
• Basic knowledge of testing standards and laboratory practices.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing of textile materials as per defined testing standards and SOPs.
• Operate and handle test equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Ensure accurate recording of test results and maintain proper documentation.
• Follow quality, safety, and compliance guidelines during all testing activities.
• Assist senior lab personnel in routine and specialized testing tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and testing instruments.

Your Qualification/ Skills

• B.Tech / Diploma in Textile Engineering or M.Sc. (Textiles, Chemistry or relevant field)
• 3-5 Years of experience
• Strong technical understanding of textile testing concepts
• Basic knowledge of testing standards and laboratory practices
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Good analytical and observation skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a laboratory environment
