Job summary

TÜV SÜD India is hiring a Quality Engineer to design and execute automated tests for new features across React frontend and Python backend services. You will validate data pipelines and AI components, ensuring performance and reliability in cloud-native environments.

Hybrid work from Pune or Mumbai is offered, with a full-time employment arrangement. You will collaborate with Quality Managers, Project Managers and development teams in an agile setup, maintain test suites, and contribute to test

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, with demonstrable work in test automation and QA in multidisciplinary product teams.
• Strong programming skills JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Capable of writing testable code and automated test scripts without supervision.
• Basic Knowledge in Python.
• Hands on Experience in Playwright or Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with frontend and backend test frameworks (e.g. Playwright, pytest, unittest, Postman, REST API testing) as well as experience in exploratory testing.
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure (AWS experience is also acceptable).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD systems; ability to define test stages and integrate automated test pipelines.
• Experience validating AI and data analytics components, including model behavior, data transformation pipelines, and output consistency.
• Comfortable testing in cloud-native environments (preferably Azure), including API-based services, containerized apps, and serverless components.
• Skilled in using tools for quality assurance documentation, issue tracking, and defect management in agile environments.
• Leadership competence, communicative and social competence, business fluent and good knowledge of English.
• Communicative and social competence, business fluent and very good knowledge of English.
• Certification: ISTQB certification desirable

Your Tasks
