Leadec in Mahad, India seeks an Instrumentation Technician/Eng to carry out maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation in a manufacturing setting. You will handle pressure, temperature, flow, level, and weighing instruments, troubleshoot gadgets, and support ABB 800xA DCS and SCADA systems.

The role requires 3–8 years in process industries, with ITI/ Diploma or BE in instrumentation/electronics/electrical, and a focus on safe, compliant operation of plant instrumentation.

Competenze

Mansioni

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform calibration, verification, troubleshooting, and replacement of instruments such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, level transmitters, and load cells.
• Maintain and troubleshoot weighing systems and controllers ranging from kg capacities up to 200T.
• Monitor and support process control systems including ABB 800xA DCS and SCADA.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in mass flow meters, magnetic flow meters, ultrasonic level transmitters, and control valves.
• Work on pneumatic control valves and associated instrumentation.
• Ensure proper functioning of industrial communication networks such as Profibus and other field protocols.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and ensure calibration compliance for critical instruments.
• Assist in instrument installation, commissioning, and modification activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, calibration reports, and documentation.
• Follow safety standards and ensure reliable operation of plant instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation and control systems.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in process instrumentation and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level, and Weighing Instruments.
• Experience with ABB 800xA DCS and SCADA systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in load cells, flow meters, pressure transmitters, and process instruments.
• Knowledge of industrial sensors, reed switches, and photo sensors.
• Familiarity with pneumatic control valves and field communication protocols (Profibus).
• Good understanding of calibration procedures and preventive maintenance practices.

Qualification:

• ITI/ Diploma / B.E. in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

Experience:

• 3-8 years of experience in process industries, manufacturing plants, chemical, cement, food, or similar industrial environments.
