Job summary

Rubicon Research Limited in Pithampur is looking for a Granulation Operator in the OSD Manufacturing team. The candidate will operate and clean granulation machines and ensure GMP-compliant practices are followed.

The role requires 2-4 years of experience and may involve shift work. Training will cover FBE operations (ACG/GEA/Glatt), blenders, and related equipment for solid oral dosage forms.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in Pharmacy/Engineering or equivalent.
• Total experience of 2-4 years.
• Ability to work in shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Set and Operate ACG, GEA, Glatt and other Fluid Bed Equipment (FBE) for Top Spray and Bottom Spray granulation.
• Set and Operate HSMG of Tapasya, GEA, Glatt and other as per approved SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
• Set and Operate Bin blender and octagonal blender of M/s. RPPRODUCT, SAAN and other make.
• Operate and maintain associated equipment including Rotary Sifter, Multi Mill, Cone Mill, and Stirrer for material processing activities.
• Ensure calibration of balances, correct machine settings, batch start up and in process checks
• Performs basic troubleshooting and autonomous maintenance of Granulation machines.
• Carry out cleaning activities and line clearance as per SOP before and after batch.
• Monitor rejections and ensure minimal losses during batch.
• Clean as per SOP and ensure line clearance before and after batch.
• Maintains hygiene and discipline in manufacturing area.
• Maintain accurate records for BMR and logbooks including equipment usage logs.
• Report deviations or breakdowns to supervisors promptly.
• Fills BMR and logbooks online during start up and operation; assist in reconciliation and rejections.
• Coordinates activities of contractual staff for smooth granulation line operation.
• Train junior operators as required.

Job Responsibilities / Deliverables

Documentation And Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely records for BMR and logbooks including equipment usage logs


• Report deviations, machine malfunctions or breakdowns to supervisors promptly


• Fills BMR and logbooks online during start up and while in operation for in process. Assists in reconciliation and rejections of in process.

Teamwork and Coordination

• Coordinates activities of contractual staff for smooth functioning of granulation line


• Train junior operators, contractual as and when required.
