Job summary

Aeron Systems in Pune seeks a documentation specialist to create, modify and review technical and non-technical literature, following set guidelines. You will work with internal teams to understand product details and documentation needs, ensuring clarity and accuracy for end users.

The role involves producing high-quality documents, preparing graphics, gathering information from subject matter experts, and maintaining version control and traceability across documents.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and review technical and non-technical literature per guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand product and documentation needs
• Produce high-quality documentation for intended audience
• Prepare graphics (graphs/charts/images/diagrams) as part of documentation work
• Independently gather information from SMEs to develop procedures and manuals
• Create and maintain traceability and versioning across the documentation
• Manage document configuration and ensure coverage in documentation
• Prior knowledge of DO-178 standards is a plus

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create, modify and review technical and non-technical literature according to set guidelines and standards
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Prepare graphics (graphs / charts / images / designs / architecture / block diagrams / artwork / stickers / labels) as part of the documentation work
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedures, technical manuals, technical specification documents, data-sheets, brochures ICDs and process documentation
• Create and maintain traceability and proper versioning throughout the documentation
• Manage document configuration control and ensure coverage in documentation
• Prior knowledge/understanding of DO-178 standards will be an advantage

Required Skills:

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Publisher, Adobe In-design, Adobe Acrobat, Photo-shop/Gimp, e Drawings and CorelDraw preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Persistence and initiative to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a group environment
