Job summary

AntiGra Systems Pvt. Ltd in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain clear documentation for brewing systems and related software. The role is full-time and on-site in Kolhapur.

You will translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly manuals, datasheets, SOPs, and guides, collaborating with R&D, Production, and QC, helping to define standards for consistent, high-quality documentation across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical documentation and documentation management.
• Ability to develop manuals and user guides for hardware and software.
• Exposure to embedded systems, IoT devices, or hardware–software integration is a plus.
• Strong written English with grammar and cross-functional collaboration on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technically accurate User Manuals, Installation Guides, SOPs, Datasheets, Brochures, and other technical documentation.
• Create customer-facing literature explaining product operation, installation, specifications, features, and usage.
• Prepare detailed technical datasheets and component specifications for suppliers to communicate requirements.
• Develop printed and audio-visual SOPs for assembly, sub-assembly, QC, and production teams.
• Observe manufacturing and operational processes, identify gaps, and improve SOPs for productivity and quality.
• Work with R&D, Purchase, Production, QC, R&M, and Management to understand requirements and problem statements.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Technical Writer role located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The Technical Writer will create, organize, and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for brewing systems and related software. The role involves translating complex technical concepts into accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring consistency in tone, terminology, and formatting across documents. The Technical Writer will also review existing documentation for clarity and completeness, incorporate feedback from stakeholders, and help define documentation standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technically accurate and grammatically correct User Manuals, Installation Guides, SOPs, Datasheets, Brochures, and other technical documentation.
• Create customer-facing literature explaining product operation, installation, specifications, features, and usage.
• Prepare detailed technical datasheets and component specifications for suppliers to clearly communicate material and quality requirements and minimize rejection or expectation gaps.
• Develop printed and audio-visual SOPs for assembly, sub-assembly, QC, and production teams to standardize processes and reduce training time.
• Observe manufacturing and operational processes, identify gaps, and continuously improve SOPs for better productivity and quality.
• Work closely with R&D, Purchase, Production, QC, R&M, and Management to understand technical requirements, processes, and problem statements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Writing and Technical Communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Candidates should possess experience in Technical Documentation and Documentation management, including organizing and structuring content for different audiences.
• Candidates should possess the ability to develop and maintain Manuals and user guides for hardware and software products.
• Proficiency in documentation tools e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Canva Pro, Photoshop, Auto CAD, SolidWorks, video-editing software, AI tools, and other relevant software to create professional documentation.
• Basic understanding of version control is beneficial.
• Solid grasp of engineering or technology concepts and engineering drawing, ideally with exposure to embedded systems, IoT devices, or hardware–software integration.
• Strong written English with excellent grammar and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Good visualization, formatting, documentation, and information-structuring skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical communication, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in a product-based or manufacturing environment and familiarity with industry documentation standards is an advantage.

CTC offered for this role is between 3.5 to 4 LPA.
