Job summary

ResponsibleUs in India is seeking an entry-level Technical Tender Engineer to review solar, BESS, and hybrid tender packages, assess technical specs and risks, and prepare pre-bid queries. You will develop BOMs for Solar and BESS and coordinate vendor inquiries to support technical comparisons.

The role requires a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering, strong electrical fundamentals, proficient Excel and analytical skills, and solid written English with attention to detail.

• Support costing and bid preparation; research MNRE, CEA, DISCOM, BIS and IEC requirements.
• Evaluate grid connectivity, power evacuation, SCADA, metering and O&M requirements.

Job Description

The Technical Tender Engineer will review Solar, BESS and hybrid renewable-energy tenders, analyse technical specifications, pre-qualification requirements and project risks, and prepare technical and pre-bid queries. The role includes developing Solar and BESS bills of materials, coordinating vendor enquiries and technical comparisons, supporting costing and bid preparation, and researching applicable MNRE, CEA, DISCOM, BIS and IEC requirements. The engineer will also evaluate grid connectivity, power evacuation, SCADA, metering and O&M requirements. Candidates should have a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering, strong electrical fundamentals, good Excel and analytical skills, strong written English and attention to detail. M.Tech in Electrical, Power Systems or Renewable Energy is an advantage.
