Job summary

Unify Technologies is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect with deep experience in payments systems to drive production stability, observability, and partner integrations. The role focuses on Java-based systems under high load, handling real-time transactions and complex reconciliations.

You will lead incident troubleshooting, improve system architecture for reliability, and strengthen monitoring while coordinating with banks, billers, and NPCI stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in backend systems.
• Strong Java / Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience in payments systems (UPI / IMPS / BBPS / Payment Switch).
• Proven experience in production troubleshooting at scale.
• Strong understanding of API integrations.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems.
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure.
• Hands-on with monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience handling real-time transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead production incident troubleshooting (Txn Failures, Latency, 503 errors).
• Analyse and resolve reconciliation & settlement issues.
• Handle certificate/signature-related issues and security flows.
• Design and improve system architecture for reliability & scalability.
• Strengthen monitoring & observability (logs, alerts, dashboards).
• Manage and stabilize integrations with banks, billers, and partners.
• Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and NPCI stakeholders.
• Drive RCA and preventive measures for recurring incidents.

Role Overview
