Emerson Electric Company India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our service team in Chennai. You will manage preventative maintenance visits, document reports, provide on-site remedial support, and coordinate with service and cross-functional teams.

The role requires ability to travel up to 75% within the country, practical experience with valves and field instrumentation, and strong communication in Hindi and English.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) or Diploma/ITI or any degree
• 0-2 years of service experience
• Ability to work with minimum supervision

Technical Support Engineer

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure to comply with the company's safety, health and environmental management regulations.
• Manage customer contracts by performing preventative maintenance visits, documenting / delivering reports and providing on-site remedial support.
• Ensure non-warranty replacement to customers for respective region on time.
• Customer return valve Document tracking and ensure proper service and return to customer.
• Co-ordination with Service Team and cross-functional teams for Service Activity Understanding and following safety requirements for equipment design, troubleshooting, and operation.
• Ensuring proper shutdown service activity with documentation and feedback from Customer end.
• Ensure Warranty/ Non-warranty replacement to customers for respective region on time.
• Timely submission of service report and solutions provided to the customers.
• Physical demands: Must be able to lift to 3 Kilogram weight. Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Work environment: Manufacturing environment.

Education

For This Role, You Will Need:

• B.E/B. Tech /Diploma /ITI or any degree Ability to work in with minimum supervision 0-2 years experience in service.

• Proficiency in Hindi and English language.
• Willing to travel approximately 75% (within country and region).
