Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based application development.
• Strong experience in leading teams and delivering complex software projects.
• Proven ability to design scalable REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Cloud knowledge across GCP, AWS, or Azure, with practical exposure.
• Production support experience including on-call rotations and incident management.
• Strong RCA, performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization skills.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Maven and Agile practices.
• Excellent communication for global collaboration and stakeholding.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Drive architecture decisions for scalable, reliable systems.
• Mentor a 10+ member engineering team and coordinate with global teams.
• Oversee Kubernetes-based deployments and containerized environments.
• Ensure robust production support and incident management.

• Remain flexible for 24x7 on-call roster as required.

Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle and proficiency in SQL.

Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, and Agile development practices.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

Demonstrated ownership, accountability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude to drive issues to closure and deliver business outcomes.
