Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Pune seeks a Technical Service Representative to support customers with paint chemistries and analytical method applications. You will work closely with sales, QA, and production teams to troubleshoot, validate processes, and drive product trials.

Ideal candidates have 4–10 years in technical service within the industrial coatings sector, strong communication, and willingness to travel across the North region to support key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Certain critical cases require round‑the‑clock monitoring across shifts.
• Business Protection Against Competition

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Utilizing industry and product (Liquid & Powder) applications concepts and procedures.
• Understanding of paint test methods, basic chemistry and their application methods.
• Applying expert principles and practices within an area or general principles and practices in multiple service areas.
• Providing technical guidance and advice to improve quality and efficiency.
• Working with line and management personnel.
• Communicating technical and operational concepts to facilitate sales.
• Providing technical customer service.
• Performing account management and sales activities.
• PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required.
• Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive directions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 ~ 10 years of experience as a technical service representative, preferably in General Industrial segment.
• Should have product and application knowledge on different liquid & powder chemistries.
• Minimum 2 years of experience towards managing customer production line independently.
• Should be ready to travel in North region

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Operations management or equivalent or higher education and experience.
