Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Experience in a Technical Sales Support or Application Engineering within the industrial engineering products will be an add-on.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on all Blue Cold products (Condensing Units, Freon & Ammonia Heat Exchangers, and Blast Freezers) and their applications.
• Work with the sales team to interpret customer cooling requirements and specifications.
• Perform technical sizing and selection of appropriate refrigeration equipment to meet project needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop and review detailed technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
• Maintain a repository of up-to-date technical sales materials and product specifications.
• Relay customer/market feedback to R&D and Engineering for improvement.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Support Engineer to join our team.

This role is a crucial link between our sales efforts and our engineering capabilities, ensuring our customers receive the optimal refrigeration solutions and exceptional technical guidance.

Position Summary

The Technical Sales Support Engineer will provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to the sales team, channel partners, and customers. This role involves understanding complex customer refrigeration requirements, recommending the right Blue Cold products, preparing technical proposals, and resolving product-related technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Consultation: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all Blue Cold products (Condensing Units, Freon & Ammonia Heat Exchangers, and Blast Freezers etc.) and their applications.
• Pre-Sales Support:
  
  • Work closely with the sales team to interpret customer cooling requirements and specifications.
  • Perform technical sizing and selection of appropriate refrigeration equipment to meet project needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Develop and review detailed technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
  
  • Maintain a repository of up-to-date technical sales materials, documentation, and product specifications.
  • Gather and relay customer/market feedback on product performance and functionality to the R&D and Engineering departments for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Experience in a Technical Sales Support or Application Engineering within the industrial engineering products will be an add-on.
