Job summary

Sagar Printers – SAGAR INKS in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive growth in the liquid printing inks segment across Maharashtra. The role requires 3–7 years of sales and marketing experience in the printing ink or packaging industries and a strong network in the region.

You will build relationships, identify opportunities, manage accounts, and coordinate with production teams to solve technical and quality concerns, while meeting monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of sales/marketing experience in inks or packaging.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with printing and packaging customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage existing customer accounts and achieve sales targets.
• Promote liquid printing inks to packaging and printing clients.
• Provide technical guidance on product selection and application.
• Visit customers regularly to understand technical and commercial needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and trials.

• Monitor competitors and market trends.
• Develop new customers in flexible packaging and other printing segments.
• Prepare quotations and convert prospects into customers.
• Maintain customer records and follow-ups.
• Ensure timely payment collection.

Experience

Job Profile / Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with printing and packaging customers.

• Work closely with the technical/production team for customer complaints and troubleshooting.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, market trends and customer requirements.
• Develop new customers in the flexible packaging other printing segments.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and convert prospects into regular customers.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Maintain customer records, market reports and sales follow-ups.
• Ensure timely payment collection and control of outstanding dues.

Desired Skills

• Strong communication and sales negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of the printing & packaging industry.
• Experience in inks, coatings, packaging, or printing industries is highly beneficial; familiarity with quality standards and safety practices in manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic office software (email, spreadsheets, presentations)
• Existing contacts/network in the printing or packaging industry will be an advantage.
• Ability to independently develop new markets and customers.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
• Good knowledge of flexographic / gravure printing will be preferred.
