Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in technical purchasing or procurement within manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience sourcing mechanical, electrical, electronics, and industrial machine components.
• Hands-on procurement of manufacturing tools, fabrication equipment, and machinery.
• Vendor management and logistics coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho Inventory management software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Purchase Manager to manage the procurement of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and machine vision components required for our products and projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, managing vendor relationships, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely procurement to support production and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure mechanical, electrical, electronics, and machine vision components.

Identify and develop reliable suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.

Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to understand material requirements.

Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring timely procurement.

Track material deliveries and coordinate logistics to meet project timelines.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.

Conduct periodic stock verification and maintain accurate inventory records.

Maintain procurement documentation, vendor records, and purchase reports.

Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

2–5+ years of experience in technical purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience in sourcing mechanical, electrical, electronics, and industrial machine components.

Hands-on experience in procurement of manufacturing tools, fabrication equipment, and industrial machinery.

Experience in vendor management and logistics coordination.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho inventory management software.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

Experience in Industrial Automation, Machine Vision, or Manufacturing.

Familiarity with Zoho Inventory or other ERP/Inventory Management systems.

Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of import procurement and vendor coordination.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
